Private Function Bookings: General Information

Our Cafe may be booked for private functions any night of the week, excluding public holidays. and Public holiday weekends.
We are ideal for Cocktail or standing style parties and can accommodate up to 140 guests in this style, however,
we do have a minimum stipulation of 70 confirmed guests for Cocktail Functions.
Sorry, we do not do 18th  birthday parties or straight venue hire.

Cocktail Functions: Priced from $3500 for 70 guests *
Duration: 6.30-11.00pm
Great for weddings, birthdays, corporate gatherings, product launches, engagement parties etc.


Sundowner Functions: Priced from $1200 for 50 guests *
Duration: 6.00-8.30pm
Great for corporate gatherings, informal get togethers, announcements, going away drinks etc.

Drinks :
Beer and Wine are on a BYO basis with no additional corkage charges. We suggest that you have all your drinks
delivered to the cafe 24 hours prior to your party, this will allow us to chill them overnight in our cool room.
We do not allow mixed spirits to be served at our venue and all guests consuming alcohol must be 18YO.
Our staff will serve all drinks from the bar on the night. Intoxicated guests will always be refused drink service.
Any unopened beer or wine will be stored securely for you to collect the following day.
No drinks may be removed on the night, this is for the purpose of maintaining responsible drink service.

Music:
We have a multi loading CD sound system and you are welcome to bring your favourite music to play.
You may also bring a pre-loaded ipod or mp3 player to put through our system. Guests may not adjust music volume levels
during the evening.
Alternatively, we can arrange juke box hire for the evening, various music styles available, eg. 60's, 70's, 80's, recent hits or a mix.
Cost : $275.00

Visual Presentations:
We have for your use a large screen LCD wall mounted television and you may run DVD formatted photo presentations on this.

Microphone:
Available to use for speeches at your function, no charge.

Food Selection:
We require confirmation of food selected and guest numbers, one week prior to the function.
In the event of fewer people attending, you will be charged for the confirmed number.

Cakes:
Birthday Cakes can be ordered through Zephyr, ask to see the selection available.
All BYO Cakes brought into the cafe for private functions, by prior arrangement only, are subject to a service charge of $1.50 per guest.

Personal Decorations or Flowers:
Simple flower arrangements or personal decorations/ balloons may be brought in for your Cocktail Function only,
on the afternoon of the function, but they will need to be removed at the end of the night.
We do not have storage facilities for earlier delivery or later collection.

All bookings are considered firm only after receipt of a non refundable deposit of $400,
payable by cheque or credit card (Visa / Mastercard) in person.

Additional Costs:
Coffee and soft drinks, charged on consumption.
Wedding and Birthday cake service charge of $1.50 per person for any cakes brought in or alternatively we can arrange one for you.
Juke Box hire is $275 until 11pm.

Payment:
May be settled at the end of the evening via credit card or cheque.
